This notice explains how personal data of katreajans.net visitors is processed under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

2. Data we process
We only process what you send us through this website:
- Contact form: full name, e-mail address and message content.
- Newsletter: e-mail address.
- Server logs: IP address, timestamp, browser and operating system, recorded automatically by our hosting provider.
We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling or visitor tracking, and we do not write anything to your browser's local storage.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry — KVKK art. 5/2-(c): directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract.
- Sending the newsletter — KVKK art. 5/1: your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Keeping the site secure — KVKK art. 5/2-(f): legitimate interest.
4. Sharing
We never sell or rent your data. It is shared only with providers required to run the service:
- Our hosting provider — website and e-mail infrastructure.
- Google Fonts — page fonts are loaded from Google servers, which transmits your IP address to Google (transfer abroad).
- Google Maps — only when the map on the Contact page loads, with the same transfer of your IP address.
5. Retention
Contact form and newsletter records are deleted when the purpose no longer applies or upon your request; records subject to a statutory retention obligation are kept for the period required by law. Server logs follow the hosting provider's policy.
6. Security
Traffic is encrypted with SSL/TLS. Security headers and a content security policy are enforced server-side. Only staff who need the data for their work can access it.
7. Your rights under KVKK art. 11
- Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
- Know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad,
- Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
- Request erasure or destruction under the conditions set out in the law,
- Request that correction and erasure be notified to third parties,
- Object to an adverse outcome produced solely by automated analysis,
- Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
8. How to apply
Send your request to info@katreajans.net or in writing to either address above. We respond within 30 days at the latest.

This notice may be updated to reflect changes in law or in our services. The current version is always published on this page.
